WELCOME!

SUNDAYS 9AM & 11AM

WELCOME TO THE BRIDGE!

Our goal at The Bridge is to create an environment where you can encounter God in the midst of your life. When you visit, we pray that you will be inspired by the music, encouraged by the message, and welcomed by our community of people. It is our earnest desire to bring a
life-changing experience to our community and the world!

WE LIVE LIKE...

Because our lives have been transformed when we placed our faith in Jesus, we are passionate about sharing this message of hope and restoration with our friends and neighbors who do not yet know Him.
(Acts 5:42)
Our fellowship is centered on the anointed preaching and teaching of God’s Word without compromise which produces salvation, healing and growth.
(Isaiah 40:8)
More than just a musical preference, we believe that every aspect of what we say and do becomes an act of worship when we are following Jesus.
(John 4:23-24)
As God has trusted us with resources, we use these resources to extend his hands to people from every walk of life and every generation.
(Acts 4:32)
We believe that serving in spirit-led, gift-aligned ministry is a call from God and a step of faith for every growing believer.
(Galatians 5:13-14)
We know that when we do life together as a church family, we grow stronger in our faith as well as in our relationships.
(Acts 2:42)
As the Holy Spirit draws all people to Jesus, we share the Good News of God’s saving love with all who need to hear it, both locally and worldwide. (Matthew 28:19-20)

OUR HISTORY

In 1932, two men with a burden for the lost and hurting came to Hamburg and began a street ministry. By 1936, the seeds that Brother Sparks and Brother Tubbs planted had blossomed into a growing body of believers who began worshipping together in a rented building on Peach Alley. In the midst of World War II, the Lord provided miraculously time and time again until at last in 1945 the cornerstone of the building located at 213 N. 4th Street was laid. And so, First Assembly of God began.

In January of 2004 we moved to our present facility. To better express our heartbeat as a fellowship, we changed the name of our body to something that more clearly portrayed our Mission and Purpose in the community and the world. Thus in 2007 First Assembly of God became, The Bridge Church!

ENVIRoNMENT

Our environment is causal and we simply want you to come as you are to our weekend gatherings. You don't need to be put together to do life with us. If you're on the fence at all, we want you to hear us say... JUST COME!
We like to remind ourselves that we are REAL people, with REAL problems and REAL hope!
