What WE do!

*Sunday Practices!
JBQers meet at 8:30am on a Sunday morning before service. They review all of the quiz questions for the coming meet. Using real
Quizbot quizzers, the team sees who can answer the questions the fastest--just like in a REAL meet! Practices usually last for one hour, until 9:30am. The TBC Sunday morning Worship service starts at 10am.

*Delicious Fun: Study Parties!
Each meet is preceded by, on the prior Sunday, a fun make-your-own-snack and game night, where the teammates play fun games that help them practice their questions!!

*Competitive Meets!
During the JBQ season (Oct - Jan), there are monthly meets [w/ the exception of Dec.] where the kids participate in fun, game-show-style competition. Two teams compete in a match, trying to beat each other to the buzzer and answer the question correctly! Questions are worth 10, 20, and 30 points based on difficulty. The team with the most points at the end of each match wins and moves on to try and win the entire meet. The team with the best record wins!
The last meet usually occurs in Jan. JBQ Semi-finals and Finals usually occur later in the month and then in February, respectively.

*At-home study time and PRIZES!
JBQ couldn't be effictive without the help of a parent/responsible adult!!
JBQers are expected to practice at home on their own time. Each participant gets a sheet on which they are to record the time they spend practicing their Bible Fact Pak Study Guide. A certain amt of points are given to them depending on how much time they have studied. At the end of the season, the kids are awarded for their personal studying with anything from a candy bar up to a large lego set!
